Our cottage is in fact our second home; therefore, it has all the comforts and "feel" of a home from home. The property is very "English", a country cottage and the inglenook fireplace is a special feature. Walking up the original pathway, you will find English roses at the doorway to the cottage.
Whilst it is over 350 years old, we have ensured through renovations that we have up to date facilities. Instant hot water and "google nest" supported heating, excellent Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machine, and excellent white goods are available in the in the kitchen, whilst the property also retains the feature of the real log fire and a Victorian fire (now gas) in the dining room.
The main bedroom is particularly cosy, with two relaxing armchairs by the ceiling-to-floor windows (low beamed ceiling) where you can relax, have a glass of wine, watch TV, or watch the day draw to a close.
The twin-bedded room is of a good size and you can enjoy the rear garden and listen to the birds. The bathroom is downstairs through the kitchen; however, it has a wonderful walk-in double shower and a double ended bath.
The rear garden is a delight - small table and chairs for eating (Barbie available) and two relaxing chairs housed in the shed.
